Sunny Dolat x Africa Fashion Exhibition

Huge congratulations to our very own Sunny Dolat for being one of a team of arts luminaries behind the Victoria and Albert’s (VA) Africa Fashion Exhibition, in his own capacity as a visionary fashion creative! Sunny, alongside Imane Ayissi, IAMISIGO, Moshions, Thebe Magugu and Sindiso Khumalo, contributed his beautiful thoughts and insights to this exhibition, which will be celebrating the art and innovation of African histories and cultures in fashion.

The Africa Fashion exhibition will be showcasing over 250 objects from a selection of mid-twentieth century designers—Shade Thomas-Fahm, Chris Seydou, Kofi Ansah and Alphadi. The exhibition will present the richness and diversity in African fashion that has spanned over several centuries.

The exhibition will be opening on Saturday, 2 July 2022 at the Victoria and Albert Museum! If you're in London or planning to be there soon, you can buy your advance tickets here!
