Material Languages: Four New Prints For Sale

We’re so grateful that you’ve received the first two runs of Nandi Flame from our Material Languages exploration with such love and excitement! Today, we’re thrilled to announce that we have FOUR new fabric prints, all available now for purchase at the Textile Loft!

The first is a new colourway of our classic Nandi Flame, now featuring a vivid black background! Nandi Flame is available in a light stretch satin.

The second print is called Hopeful Hands! It was illustrated by Lulu Kitololo, and is inspired by cultures of adornment along the Kenyan coast. The gestures of the hands spell out the word “hope” in International Sign. Hopeful Hands is available in a light off-white viscose, with the hands outlined in a henna-brown print.

The third and fourth prints are from Jim Chuchu’s series titled “A Machine Dreams of African Print”! Subra’s vibrant coral hues echo age-old resist dye techniques used across the Continent. Subra is available in the same light stretch satin as Nandi Flame.

The last print we’re presenting today is Tana, featuring staccato graphics in dark earth tones. Tana is available in the same light viscose as Hopeful Hands.

The four prints are available for purchase (at KES 850 per metre) in Nairobi at The Textile Loft in Westlands, on the 6th floor of Kipro Center on Sports Road. Feel free to call The Textile Loft at +254717048713 to inquire and order (and they also deliver)!
